Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) in Jackson County, OH is seeking a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant. Qualifications

• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
• Experience with multi‑need individuals and families is preferred.
• Broad knowledge of community service systems is preferred.
• Willingness to lead cross‑systems team activities is required.
• Advanced organizational skills are required.
• Ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required.
• Ability to use a personal vehicle or company vehicle to provide services.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
• Auto insurance coverage is required.
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Internet-based, automated office environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of participant strengths, needs, and level of care to support SUD treatment.
• Provide individual and group SUD services aligned with treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals and linkage to community resources; maintain engagement.
• Advocate for participants with schools, courts, and service providers.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and cross-system collaboration.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per requirements.
• Engage in program evaluation, audits, and data reporting.
• Build knowledge of community resources and emerging service needs.
• Utilize EHR for client documentation.
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and productivity standards.
• Travel within the service area to provide in‑homes and community services.
