Job summary

Four Oaks Middle in North Carolina is seeking a Part-Time Coach for Boys Track to support the athletic program under the Johnston County Public Schools system. The coach will ensure athlete safety, teach sportsmanship, and foster a welcoming environment while aligning with district goals for academics and athletics.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, coaching experience, and knowledge of athletic policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Previous successful coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of athletic policies approved by Johnston County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physical examinations, parental consent, and eligibility.
• Maintain or acquire coaching prerequisites annually or as they expire listed by NCDPI, NCHSAA, & Johnston County Public Schools.
• Promote the sport within the school through information sessions and multisport opportunities.
• Maintain medical emergency information for each athlete and follow emergency protocols.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director to inform and determine discipline processes and communicate with parents as needed.
