Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking dedicated behavioral health staff in Ohio to provide direct client care across a range of programs including ACT, SUD, and crisis navigation. This role emphasizes monitoring symptoms, coordinating resources, and delivering compassionate, confidential care to diverse populations in community and clinical settings.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least three years in behavioral health, and strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Three years relevant experience in behavioral health or related field.
• Ability to engage clients therapeutically and apply recovery/resiliency concepts.
• Experience with de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client symptoms and response to treatment; communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Develop and maintain treatment relationships with clients and families; provide support as needed.
• Coordinate community resources to ensure continuity of care; advocate for clients.
• Provide crisis intervention during emergencies and assist in stabilization.
• Facilitate appointments and ensure overall well-being, including mental health and substance use needs.
• Maintain documentation and ensure confidentiality; meet with supervisor for weekly supervision.
