Qualifications

Hearing aid dispensing license in Michigan required or preferred.
Doctorate in Audiology preferred for advanced clinical practice.
3rd and 4th year Audiology externs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform patient hearing tests and interpret results to recommend instrument options.
Explain benefits of hearing health care and answer patient questions about hearing instruments.
Discuss pricing and value of hearing care and long‑term outcomes of device use.
Engage in community outreach to attract new patients and referrals.
Teach patients to use new technologies to meet their hearing goals.
Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings; ensure device performance.
Support clinic operations with team assistance to maintain smooth daily workflow.
