Job summary

FullBloom is seeking an Associate Director to oversee special education programs and ensure adherence to IEPs while leading directors and staff. The role involves regular classroom observations, staff meetings, and collaboration with regional activities and district personnel.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and experience with students with emotional disabilities, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to undergo background checks.

Qualifications

• Credentials in Education or similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience with students with serious emotional disabilities preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all students are educated in accordance with their IEPs.
• Observation of classrooms on a regular basis and provide staff feedback.
• Lead weekly staff meetings to share information and concerns affecting the program and staff.
• Attend Regional activities including a weekly Director’s Meeting.
• Attend and participate in monthly Goal Review with Supervisor and demonstrate growth.
• Report facilities issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Communicate with parents, supervisors, and district personnel in person, by telephone and in newsletters.
