UMass Amherst seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Policy, Research, and Administration (EPRA). The focus is on US K-12 policy and leadership, with partnerships with districts and an emphasis on translating research into practice for educational improvement.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Education, Public Policy, or a relevant social science field.
• Broad expertise in education policy and leadership in US K-12 education with a focus on policy, leadership, and practice.
• Experience with externally funded projects and potential to secure funding.
• Ability to teach across multiple program levels (UG/Grad).

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses per semester (in-person and/or online).
• Maintain a robust student advising caseload.
• Engage in research and seek external funding.
• Provide service to the college, university, and community.
