Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies seeks an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers with a focus on enrollment, accreditation, and high-quality early childhood education. You will work alongside the Center Director to support teaching staff, families, and community partners while upholding our standards of care.

You will educate parents and staff on the value of early childhood education, collaborate across teams, and fill multiple center roles as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to meet state guidelines for the role.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• English language proficiency for parent and staff communication.
• Willingness to accommodate reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment and accreditation goals.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
• Serve in various roles within the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and driver.
