Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to obtain appropriate license(s) as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• An acceptable rating of prior teaching experience, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct students in assigned locations and times.
• Design coherent instruction aligned with Virginia Standards of Learning and curriculum goals.
• Plan instruction to achieve desired objectives and prepare for classes.
• Diagnose student needs and allocate time and resources accordingly.
• Evaluate progress and provide prompt feedback with records and reports.
• Use varied assessments to guide instructional decisions and improve learning.
