Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Maintenance Supervisor in Commerce, TX. You will oversee all maintenance operations at the community, manage staff and vendors, ensure safety standards, and provide strong customer service to residents. Strong maintenance experience in affordable housing is preferred.

Salary ranges from $24 to $28 per hour with full-time benefits. This role requires regular on-site attendance and availability for on-call emergencies, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders
• Ensure all repairs and replacements necessary for community common areas and units
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards
• Manage and order maintenance supplies inventory within budget
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend property life
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and safety compliance
• Promote safe work practices and hazard communications
• Participate in unit inspections as requested
• Supervise maintenance staff and trainschedule activities
• Provide input on employee performance evaluations
• Ensure staff effectiveness through training and coaching
• Maintain excellent resident relations and customer service
• Enforce community policies and vendor coordination
