Job summary
Jefferson Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized cardiovascular team. This physician will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with advanced heart failure, including consideration for transplantation and LVAD therapy.

Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent degree required.
- Board certification/eligibility in cardiovascular disease.
- Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
- Interest in academic medicine, research, and medical education encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with advanced heart failure and complex cardiovascular disease.
- Evaluate and manage patients being considered for advanced therapies including heart transplantation and LVAD.
- Participate in multidisciplinary heart failure, transplant, and MCS programs.
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and imaging teams.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
