Job summary

Brightway Living & Learning is seeking a Residential Program Manager to oversee a New York adult residence, managing daily operations and staff. You will work directly with individuals served and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement plans and meet goals.

The role requires leadership, about two years of related experience, and knowledge of behavioral support strategies. On-call duties and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Two years experience working with developmentally disabled adults.
• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis and Positive Behavioral Support.
• Must be able to lift/move/carry 20 lbs. and perform SCIP techniques.
• Must have valid NYS driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise and evaluate staff; manage payroll data for the residence.
• Maintain Emergency Procedures and crisis response.
• Train new staff on individuals' needs and programs.
• Develop and implement Annual Program Plan and Behavior Plans.
• Coordinate care across Psychology, Nutrition/Fitness, Nursing, and Day Hab.
• Accompany individuals to medical appointments and manage incident reports.
