Job summary

Pennington County Sheriff's Office in Rapid City, SD is seeking Certified and Licensed Addiction Counselors to join the Addiction Treatment Services Team under the Care Campus. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 27 credit hours across listed courses.
• Minimum supervised work hours in counseling domain based on education level.
• South Dakota State Certified Addiction Counselor License required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the 12-core functions of chemical dependency counseling to individuals and families.
• Mentor Counselor Trainee positions and provide supervision as needed.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Reinforce clinical programming and ethical practices.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with community resources to ensure quality care.
• Demonstrate fidelity to evidence-based practices across programming.
• Attend meetings and complete trainings; perform related duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Education
