Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite position in Ada, Oklahoma. This hospital-based role supports patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders in an acute-care setting serving Ada, Pontotoc County and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities include evaluation, care planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions, plus collaboration with families, documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with current licensure through the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions.
• Collaborate with patients and families throughout treatment.
• Document and communicate patient progress.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling to support outcomes.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Supervise clinical fellows, students and support personnel in accordance with professional standards.
