Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current SLP licensure through the applicable state board required.
• Ability to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Ability to document patient progress and communicate clinical findings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive Speech-Language Pathology assessments.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and clinical findings.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatment interventions, and clinical outcomes.
• Communicate patient progress and recommendations to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling.
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel in accordance with standards.
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical and professional standards.
