Job summary

Intermountain Health Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to screen, evaluate, diagnose and treat injuries and disabilities using standard OT practices. This role offers PRN scheduling with opportunities to float to other Front Range sites, supporting a patient-centered approach and quality outcomes across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Promotes mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, and abides by service standards.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services, staying updated on standard practices (AOTA), and develops care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments.
• Meets established productivity standards for the department or service line.
• Keeps thorough and timely patient records and completes billing accurately and promptly.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals.
• Manages all aspects of patient care and staff supervision to ensure high-quality care.
