GEO Foundation, a network of charter schools in Baton Rouge, Gary, and Indianapolis, seeks an Accounting & Budget Manager to provide general accounting services and lead budget development for all GEO schools. The role reports to the Accounting Officer and is responsible for timely month-end closings, reconciliations, and annual audits.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries.
• May perform month end closings for Louisiana schools.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with supporting schedules.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare fixed assets schedule and record depreciation.
• Assist with annual audit schedules.
• Coordinate with Accounting Officer and school leaders to develop and monitor annual operating budgets for all schools.
• Complete quarterly, semi-annual, and annual LDOE reporting.
• Perform other duties as requested by team leader.
