Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid teaching certification (as appropriate).
• 1–3 years of successful teaching experience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with teachers, students, parents, and the community.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office and SIS.
• Commitment to CSUSA values and character education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction aligned to adopted courses.
• Develop lesson plans and maximize time on task.
• Present subject matter with real-world examples to maximize learning.
• Review and maintain accurate student records.
• Coordinate class field trips as required.
• Prepare students for state required achievement assessments.
• Establish cooperative relations with parents and guardians.
• Participate in curriculum planning and revisions.
