Job summary

Resolute Digital, a Weber Shandwick Company, seeks an Associate for its Social Impact & Sustainability team in Washington, DC. You will support development and execution of communications strategies for nonprofit, foundation, and corporate clients aiming to drive tangible social change.

You’ll contribute to media relations, content development, research, and proposal support on a hybrid schedule, collaborating with senior staff to manage multiple projects and build client partnerships.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or public affairs (agency/nonprofit/government/media).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Account & Project Coordination: support multiple client projects with scheduling, logistics, timelines, notes, and follow-up actions.
• Media Relations: identify and build relationships with key reporters across national, trade, local, and emerging outlets.
• Content Development: draft internal and external messaging, including press releases and media lists.
• Research & Insights: analyze social impact trends, opportunities, and policy developments; summarize client media coverage.
• Strategic Support: assist in creating and executing creative communications strategies.
• Growth & New Business: contribute to research and proposals for new opportunities.
• Relationship Building: foster trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
