Job summary

JPMorganChase invites students to Code for Good, a two-day hackathon aimed at solving nonprofit tech challenges. This program may lead to consideration for the 2027 Software Engineer Program Summer Internship.

As an Early Careers Software Engineer Intern, you will build and optimize digital applications, begin with an induction, and collaborate with peers and senior engineers to deliver reliable solutions in a modern setting.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or 5th-year Master's with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
Fields of study include CS/Info Science/Info Tech/Data Science/AI/Big Data.
Ability to write secure, high-quality code in at least one language.
Strong collaboration across engineers, managers, and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and tools.
Apply automation and tooling to improve the software life cycle.
Use AI tools with proper review and validation; ensure output quality.

Responsibilities

Develop skills through ongoing training, mentorship, and access to senior leaders.
Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software solutions.
Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language.
Collaborate with engineers, managers, and stakeholders to understand problems and deliver solutions.
