Job summary

The Connecticut Institute for Refugees and Immigrants (CIRI) seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Economic Empowerment programs, including employment services, job placement, workforce development, and ESL instruction.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Economic Empowerment, you will supervise program staff and ESL instructors, coordinate operations, monitor performance, and ensure services help clients achieve economic stability and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
• Minimum of three years in workforce development, employment services, refugee/immigrant services, adult education, or related field.
• Experience supervising staff or programs preferred.
• Experience with refugees, immigrants, and diverse populations preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure accountability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Economic Empowerment programs including employment services, job placement, workforce development, and ESL instruction.
• Supervise program staff and ESL instructors; set performance expectations and provide guidance.
• Maintain client records and ensure culturally responsive, timely services.
• Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with grants and contracts.
• Collaborate with departments to coordinate services and support client outcomes.
