Bellwood Developmental Center in Berkeley, IL is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Developmental Trainers for our day training program. Join a close-knit team dedicated to enriching the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities through daily living skills and community involvement.

This day-shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, with opportunities for full- or part-time work and retention bonuses.

Qualifications

• Provide direct support to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and community integration.
• Meet screening requirements for Healthcare Worker background check.
• Job requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative, positive influence as part of an inter-disciplinary team.
• Teach, train, and develop daily living skills and life activities for individuals we serve.
• Assist with community integration and meaningful daily activities.
• Provide quality services and care to residents and support their independence.
