The Iowa Department of Corrections is hiring a Residential Officer in Cedar Rapids to support clients reentry efforts in a 24-hour community-based facility. You will engage with clients daily, observe behavior, and help foster personal growth while maintaining safety and security.

Training will include motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral strategies, and you will collaborate with case managers to address individual needs and goals with professionalism and integrity.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a 24-hour community-based facility and respond to emergencies.
