Job summary

Project Access in Aurora, CO is seeking a Part-time Community Program Coordinator for The Parker. You will design and implement programs, engage residents, and connect families with services within four pillars.

The role requires independence, strong outreach, and ability to work with diverse populations; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Schedule Tue-Fri 2pm–6pm and Sat 10am–2pm; wage is $25/hr with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience in community outreach, resident services or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage residents.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and initiative; able to work autonomously.
• Experience with youth, families, older adults, and diverse populations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; MS Office proficiency expected.
• Possess driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance; CPR/First Aid certified or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Implement core programs across four pillars: Economic Stability, Education for Youth & Families, Health & Wellness, Community Building.
• Coordinate after-school and teen programs with homework help and enrichment.
• Plan and deliver resident-facing workshops and group sessions; partner with external providers when available.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local service providers for workshops.
• Organize community-building events and recruit volunteers/interns.
• Reach out to residents via door-to-door, digital, and on-site presence; collect outcomes data.
• Provide information and referrals to access community resources and services.
• Assist with food distribution partnerships and logistics; liaise with property management.
• Publish monthly newsletters and calendars; manage budget input for programs.
