Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Product Sustainability & Compliance Engineer to ensure our products meet global environmental, safety, and performance standards. You will collaborate with design, supply chain, and certification teams to embed conformance, chemical compliance, and lifecycle thinking into product development.

The role includes LCAs and carbon-footprint analyses, regulatory data management, and supporting market access for worldwide product launches while driving sustainable material

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or environmental field.
• 1–3 years in product compliance or sustainability engineering.
• Strong knowledge of product testing, certification, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency with data analysis and documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute conformance testing plans for products.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, and certification teams to ensure compliance.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and changes for regulatory compliance.
• Lead chemical and material compliance including REACH, RoHS, Prop 65.
• Conduct LCAs and carbon footprint analyses to identify reductions.
• Support regulatory and market access efforts globally.
