Job summary

Indian Rocks Church seeks an Assistant Kids Director (K–5) to partner with the Kids Director in leading a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry for elementary-age children at the Largo Campus. The role emphasizes weekly service leadership, Bible teaching, curriculum coordination, and safe, engaging environments where kids grow in faith and families feel supported.

You will oversee Wednesday night and Sunday services, recruit and train volunteers, manage Planning Center schedules, and ensure safety

Qualifications

College or Seminary degree actively pursued or completed.
Experience in ministry with youth (K–5) and leading volunteer teams.
Experience managing large groups and coordinating volunteers.

Responsibilities

Lead K–5 Wednesday night ministry services for elementary students, overseeing programming and volunteers.
Oversee the Sunday 10:30 AM Kids service flow and age-appropriate Bible teaching.
Organize and prepare K–5 curriculum aligned with ministry goals.
Recruit, onboard, train, and support K–5 volunteer leaders to serve with excellence.
Enforce safety procedures including child check-in and AHCA screening requirements.
Oversee Planning Center scheduling and communications for K–5 services.
Coordinate hardware and tech needs per church workflows.
Assist in planning and executing major Kids Ministry events.
