Qualifications

• Ensure alignment between proposals and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding from private foundations, government agencies, corporations, and others.
• Identify funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and manage the application process from start to finish.
• Research potential funding sources from private foundations, government agencies, and other entities.
• Monitor grant databases, funding announcements, and industry trends to spot opportunities and priorities.
• Evaluate eligibility criteria, funding priorities, and requirements for each opportunity to align with programs.
• Write clear, concise grant proposals, letters of inquiry, concept papers, and applications tailored to each funder.
• Ensure proposals address project description, objectives, methodology, evaluation, and sustainability.
• Manage deadlines, submissions, and follow-up on proposal status; represent the organization at meetings and events.
