Job summary

D.A. Blodgett - St. John's is actively seeking a Foster Care Case Manager in Grand Rapids to support children and families within the child welfare system.

You will work directly with children, parents, and caregivers, leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, well-being, and permanency plans for each child. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, strong organizational and communication skills, and willingness to engage in court-related responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or closely related field.
• Commitment to providing excellent child welfare services.
• Experience with case management and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Monthly home visits to foster children and annual/monthly visits with parents.
• Timely report writing for court readers, including judges and attorneys.
• Court testimony as required by the court order and relevant proceedings.
• Develop and implement service plans and parent-agency agreements.
• Coordinate and monitor community resources and services for clients.
• Attend team meetings, case conferences, and foster care planning sessions.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a closely related Human Services field
