Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Writing: Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Presentation: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Mathematics: Basic arithmetic and percent calculations.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Vision: Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.
• Certifications: First Aid and CPR certification, valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Other: Background checks, physical/TB/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Upholds the mission and vision and helps individuals achieve a well-rounded life.
• Supports implementation of the Individual Service Plan per regulations.
• Assists with transportation and daily activities.
• Provides personal care, life skills, community integration, and medication administration.
• Maintains progress notes and documentation within deadlines.
• Communicates with families, providers, and regulatory agencies as needed.
