Job summary

RealPage seeks a Technical Project Manager to bridge Data Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Product, Operations and business stakeholders. This role adds structure, visibility and execution discipline across the Data Science Lifecycle—from problem definition and data preparation through model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management.
• Experience managing data science, machine learning, analytics, or other highly technical projects.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams like Data Science, Engineering, & Product.
• Ability to translate technical discussions into actionable project plans.
• Experience operating in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or similar environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI in workflows effectively and responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Data Science Project Execution: manage day-to-day execution of multiple DS/ML projects.
• Translate business problems into clear scopes, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Coordinate work across data scientists, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate sprint planning, standups, reviews, and working sessions.
• Identify blockers, drive resolution, and elevate decisions.
• Maintain current documentation, requirements, assumptions, and decisions.
• Provide regular reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Oversee MLOps and production readiness, including deployment and monitoring.
• Coordinate model release readiness, handoffs, and post-deployment follow-up.
• Ensure data quality, model performance, drift, security, and ownership.
• Develop repeatable processes for model promotion, retraining, monitoring, and incident response.
• Help create lightweight operating rhythms, templates, dashboards, and standards.
