Job summary

OneAZ Credit Union is seeking a Data Governance Strategist to own and evolve the enterprise data governance program from our Corporate Office in Phoenix. You will drive adoption of standards, strengthen data stewardship, and promote responsible data use across departments for better member and associate outcomes.

You will partner with Data and Analytics teams to identify governance-related BI use cases, improve data quality, and ensure privacy and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred in statistics, data science, mathematics, accounting, business, computer science, information science, or related field.
• 5-8 years in data governance, data management, analytics, or related disciplines with enterprise data standards and governance execution.
• 3-5 years leading enterprise programs, cross-functional initiatives, or serving as SME for governance, risk, compliance, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data governance program as the sole dedicated contributor.
• Develop and refine data governance policies, standards, and program documents.
• Maintain data inventory, glossary, ownership records, and lineage artifacts.
