Job summary

Respect Together is seeking a Communications and Content Specialist to advance survivor-centered communications. You will develop content for newsletters, webpages, and campaigns, and create multimedia assets for digital channels. This on-site role offers a hybrid schedule with two days in Harrisburg, PA.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years in nonprofit communications, with strong writing, editing, and production skills across WordPress, email, and social media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, digital media, graphic design, or related field.
• Two or more years of communications, content development, marketing, public relations, or related experience.
• Nonprofit, advocacy, public health, or social justice communications experience helpful.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to interpret graphs and performance data.
• Ability to organize information, follow direction, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate about sexual violence, trauma, prevention, and survivor services with care, accuracy, and respect.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign).
• Experience with WordPress; email marketing and social media scheduling platforms; analytics tools; and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, proofread, and format content for newsletters, emails, webpages, reports, and guides.
• Translate complex programs and policy information into clear, accessible content.
• Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content across social media and email campaigns.
• Develop graphics, short-form videos, and multimedia content for campaigns.
• Support statewide awareness, fundraising, and advocacy campaigns and events.
• Coordinate calendars, deadlines, and approvals across teams and centers.
• Provide content resources and templates to Pennsylvania rape crisis centers.
• Monitor performance and prepare reports with actionable content improvements.
