Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) seeks a Program Modernization Assistant for the SEE program in Des Moines. The role supports SRF clean water initiatives, performs day-to-day administrative tasks, and contributes to modernization efforts to streamline data, records, and reporting.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours with benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in office/administrative work.
• Preference for experience in environmental programs or related field.
• AA Degree in Any field with preference to science or business; training in computer use acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day administrative operations and modernization initiatives for SRF clean water programs in Iowa.
• Respond, monitor, track, organize, develop, compile, and report on program activities.
• Support data gathering, data entry, GIS mapping, and records management.
• Coordinate communications and assist staff with process improvements and SOP development.
• Provide general program support including mail handling and stakeholder training.
