Job summary

IL Corn offers a paid Ag Advocacy Internship in the summer of 2027 to support communications and advocacy programs in outreach goals. The intern will work in the Bloomington, IL office, Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 with flexibility for pre-approved schedule changes.

Responsibilities include PR, writing, design, video production, and event coordination. Professional development includes interaction with association professionals and a Washington, DC introductory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be an Illinois resident and full-time college student
• Must demonstrate strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
• Willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Public Relations, Marketing and Communications support.
• Writing, design and video production.
• Presentations about corn and corn farmers to non-farmers and teachers.
• Event coordination.
