Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a graduate degree program (0-1 year).
• Bachelor's degree in related field required; experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of experimental results.
• Ability to work independently under supervision.
• Comfort with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet searches.

Responsibilities

• Designs experiments and modifies techniques as needed to meet research and/or experimental needs.
• Collects and records study data and maintains laboratory notebooks.
• Designs, executes research projects and participates in large animal experiments and laboratory research.
• Synthesizes and interprets experimental data and performs data analysis using advanced statistics.
• Drafts manuscripts and serves as a co-author on journal publications and presentations at professional meetings.
