Job summary

Syneos Health in Nashville seeks an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional to execute the territory sales plan, present to current and prospective clients, and act as a disease expert.

You will cover an assigned territory with planned calls, participate in training, and strive to hit quarterly and annual goals. The role requires 2+ years pharma sales, a BA/BS, valid license, and willingness to travel, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 2+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the sales plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers and serving as a disease expert/resource. You will:

• Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes specialty physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
• Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
• Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals while growing sales within the assigned territory

Essential Requirements

• BA/BS Degree
• 2+ years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements

• Recent experience in the geography (local market knowledge and existing relationships with target prescribers)
• Documented history and proven track record of sales success
