Job summary

The Cedars-Sinai Vujkovic-Cvijin Laboratory in Los Angeles seeks a Research Associate to support experimental studies inside IBIRI. You will perform routine cellular, microbiology, and molecular biology tasks under supervision and help maintain records and lab inventory.

You will assist in coordinating experiments, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring safety standards while contributing to data analysis and project progression within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a science-related field.
• Understanding of general research objectives and routine laboratory procedures.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, with problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tasks and procedures to support one or more research projects.
• Maintain accurate project records and organize experiments results.
• Assist with lab maintenance, inventory, and supply orders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and help new students and fellows.
• Ensure safety standards and proper handling of samples and equipment.
• Assist in instrument validation and maintenance as needed.
