Job summary

Charles River is seeking a laboratory professional to handle and process samples, collect data, and report results using moderately complex methods. You will support labeling, inventory, deviations, and process improvements, with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least one year of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) required.
• At least 1 year related laboratory experience.
• Analytical and problem solving capabilities; understanding of GLPs and SOPs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and standard laboratory calculations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform and document procedures, materials and results per regulatory standards (GLPs, SOPs).
• Communicate with applicable parties in formal or informal settings.
• Assist with labeling and solution preparations.
• Maintain study specific inventories of consumables and general consumables.
• Independently write study and non-study deviations with management as needed.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, troubleshooting and time management aligned to operations.
• Execute routine studies and validate testing with oversight.
