Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in microbiology, virology, molecular biology or related field.
• Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States; visa sponsorship not anticipated.
• Biosafety (BSL1/BSL2) and biosecurity practices.
• Immunological methods and techniques involving both live and inactivated cultures.
• Cell culture methods including cryopreservation.
• Viral and bacterial propagation techniques and identification.
• Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments individually and in teams with attention to detail.
• Process clinical samples according to protocol with high accuracy.
• Conduct laboratory experiments following written methods and experience-guided supervision.
• Design and execute experiments appropriate to project needs.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot, and present findings.
• Perform basic microscopy and maintain instrument readiness.
• Learn and use software tools such as Smartsheet, Compass, SoftMax, Gen5.
• Maintain ALCOA+ compliant documentation and quality control.
• Coordinate with R&D teams and external groups; perform additional duties as needed.
