Job summary

BreezeBio Inc. in Brisbane, CA, is seeking a Researcher to support non-clinical PK, biodistribution, and PD evaluation of our NanoGalaxy platform for nucleic acid-based therapeutics. You will develop and execute quantitative bioanalytical assays and PD readouts to enable IND-enabling studies.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with RT-qPCR, ELISA, MSD in complex matrices, and immuno-monitoring assays, with strong data analysis and collaboration skills in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Toxicology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 0–2 years of biotech/pharma experience.
• Hands-on experience with quantitative bioanalytical assay platforms — RT-qPCR, ELISA, MSD — in complex biological matrices.
• Experience with mRNA-LNP biodistribution or nucleic acid PK assays.
• Experience with emerging therapeutic modalities — gene therapy and nucleic acid therapeutics.
• Hands-on experience with pharmacodynamic and immune-monitoring assays integrated with PK sampling (flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, cytokine profiling).
• Familiarity with bioanalytical method development/qualification and FDA/ICH guidance.
• Proficiency with GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, Phoenix WinNonlin and ELN/LIMS.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and independently execute quantitative bioanalytical assays such as RT-qPCR, ELISA, and MSD for PK, biodistribution, and PD evaluations.
• Contribute to study design and execution of in vivo PK, biodistribution, PD, and toxicology studies in rodent and other models.
• Support PD assays integrated with PK sampling, including multicolor flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, and cytokine profiling.
• Maintain robust, well-documented assays suitable for regulatory submissions.
• Analyze and summarize PK, biodistribution, and PD data; present findings to teams and external partners.
• Collaborate with Discovery Biology and other functions; maintain thorough lab records.
