Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Rahway, NJ, seeks a Senior scientific leader to serve as the NDS Therapeutic Area Leader for Immunology. You will guide nonclinical development and post-marketing safety strategies, shaping risk assessments, and regulatory deliverables.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, mentor leaders, and engage with external scientific and regulatory bodies to advance immunology programs toward BLA/WMA submissions and global safety strategy.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or MD in Toxicology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or related field is required.
• 12+ years in nonclinical drug development or regulatory experience.
• Strong expertise in toxicology, immunology, GLP, and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee immunology programs and deliver nonclinical risk assessments.
• Prepare regulatory documentation and interact with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Influence safety strategies and engage with external scientific/regulatory bodies.
