Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a bioanalytical assay scientist in Spring House, PA to develop, optimize, and execute immunology-based bioanalytical assays. The role focuses on cellular immunology methods to characterize T and B cell subsets and innate responses for early vaccine programs.

You will work with flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, MSD, and Luminex platforms, perform PBMC isolation, and maintain detailed records per SOPs and GLP/GxP guidelines. The position is full-time with standard hours.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or related life sciences with 3–5 years hands-on experience, or M.S. with 1–2 years.
• Hands-on experience in cell-based assays or immunology-based bioanalytical testing; contractor or industry lab experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex cell-based and immunology-based bioanalytical assays using flow cytometry, ELISpot/FluoroSpot, MSD, and Luminex.
• Perform assay setup, sample processing, acquisition, data review, and initial data interpretation with high technical rigor.
• Support assay development, optimization and qualification activities for biomarker and immunogenicity applications.
• Conduct clinical sample testing for qualified bioanalytical assays.
• Troubleshoot assay performance issues, instrument challenges, reagent variability, and sample-related issues; recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain instrument systems and ensure complete, inspection-ready records per SOPs and GLP/GxP requirements.
