Rhode Island Blood Center in Providence is seeking an Immunohematology Reference Laboratory Technologist to join the transfusion medicine team. The role performs complex serology work and supports patient testing across the reference laboratory, reporting results to hospital staff and Medical Directors.

Position Summary
This position reports to the Laboratory Operations Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services and/or the Supervisor(s) of the Reference. To assure good customer service and timely performance of testing for our clients and patients, it is necessary for employees to be trained to perform duties in more than one laboratory.
Education: MT/MLS, CLS, BB or SBB required.
Experience: 2 years blood banking experience in a transfusion center or blood center reference laboratory.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
Schedule: Full time, Mon. through Fri. - 2nd shift
Proposed rate of pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hr.
