Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Post-Doc Research Associate to join the Bachelder Lab in the DPMP division. The role focuses on immunoengineering, nanoengineered scaffolds, and cancer therapy development, particularly glioblastoma.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor graduate students. PhD in immunology/biomaterials is required, with experience in cell culture, animal models, and immunoassays; the position is full-time, on-site in Chapel

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology, Biomedical Engineering, Immunoengineering, or a closely related field.
• Previous work with cells and/or animal models of immune responses.
• A strong background in immunology, and/or biomaterials.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, ELISA, small animal models, Flow Cytometry, and ELISpot assays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on formulations and nanoengineered scaffolds for the treatment of cancer, specifically glioblastoma.
• Mentor and oversee graduate students involved in the work.
• Actively contribute to collaborative efforts across the lab.
