Job summary

Bio-Techne, based in the Metro New York area, is seeking a Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist, to provide pre- and post-sales assay development and technical support for Simple Plex Ella and Luminex platforms in New York and Northern New Jersey. A BS/BA in biochemistry or related life sciences with at least five years of hands-on immunoassay experience is required; MS/PhD is preferred.

Travel up to 50% and the base pay range is shown below, with additional commission

Qualifications

• Minimum BS/BA in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology or related life science field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with immunoassays is required.
• MS/PhD and Field Applications Scientist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales assay development and troubleshooting support for immunoassay platforms.
• Present scientific seminars to prospects and assist with pre-sales evaluations at prospect sites.
• Attend conferences, trade shows and interact with customers; provide feedback to internal teams.
