Job summary

Aahealth in Annapolis seeks a Registered Nurse to administer immunizations to children and adults, following DoH and VFC guidelines. The role may function as charge nurse, coordinating immunization services during routine, after-hours, and occasional weekend clinics.

Responsibilities include vaccine storage and handling, participant education, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Travel to multiple Anne Arundel County health centers is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current RN license with Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Prior experience administering vaccines to adult and pediatric patients.
• Experience with STI assessment, education and safe sex practices encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Identify and administer immunizations per guidelines and policies, including vaccines for Children.
• Provide immunization education and resources to clients and community.
• Monitor vaccine storage and handling per guidelines.
• Assist with TB, QFT, titers and DOT as needed.
• Travel to other health centers in Anne Arundel County.
