This role is part of a high-performing sales team and reports directly to the National Sales Manager. As an IMMULITE Sales Specialist, you will lead the sales strategy for the IMMULITE portfolio in the assigned geography, as well as work closely with the lab diagnostic sales force to drive the strategic integration of IMMULITE solutions into clinical laboratories. You will shape customer roadmaps that create real operational and clinical value.
Achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the assigned field by managing the sales cycle from lead generation to close, utilizing Siemens' customer relationship management tool to track and report on sales activities.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including lab personnel, healthcare providers and industry opinion leaders.
Specialist will work cross-functionally, as the sales expert, with other team members from Sales, Marketing, Scientific Support, the Technical Applications Organization, and Customer Service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Actively identifies new prospects and successfully positions Siemens solutions to win accounts and drive market share gain.
Manage installed base of Siemens Systems and increase revenue particularly through penetration with newly launched assays.
Coordinate all sales activities including but not limited to expert-level technical presentations on the value of Siemens Healthineers instruments and novel assays, financial proposals, customer references and site visits, positioning Siemens solutions versus competitive options, equipment demonstrations, contracting and negotiating, and working with customer throughout the implementation process when the sale is closed.
The Specialist will work with the DX sales force to develop newly installed customers into reference accounts for the particular Siemens solution. This includes developing and implementing plans to exceed revenue/growth expectations, maximize customer profitability, and insure customer satisfaction/loyalty.
Specialist will assist in cultivating long-term relationships with key account decision makers.
Possess a deep understanding of Siemens clinical products and services, as well as relevant market trends and competitive landscapes.
Execute on demand generation campaigns to support the growth of key market segments by positioning the clinical relevance of the solutions we offer.
Responsible for providing market and customer insights through analysis of internal and external data sources and communicate trends to management.
Travel within assigned territory to meet with customers, attend sales events and participate in training.
Demonstrated management of analytical tools for funnel building, CRM and market insights to provide transparency to internal stakeholders and decision makers.
Minimum of BA/BS degree in business, marketing, or medical health sciences (medical technology, biology, clinical chemistry, etc.). 5+ years of capital sales experience, preferably clinical diagnostics. Acquired technical knowledge with the capability to organize and prioritize departmental personnel and tasks. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of the assigned disease states, the lab and competitive testing methodologies are a benefit. Willing to travel within the assigned geography. Travel 75% of time.

The base pay range for this position is: $85,600 - $117,700. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
