Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center is seeking a Staff Attorney to champion justice for immigrants by bridging sophisticated litigation with human-centered advocacy. The role supports detained and non-detained clients in El Paso, Texas, and southern New Mexico, with a mission to expand access to legal services and social justice.

Qualifications

• JD degree with active bar membership in good standing.
• 0–3 years of legal experience; immigration/removal defense preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload before USCIS, the Immigration Court, and the BIA.
• Prepare applications, motions, and briefs; advocate with ICE.
• Represent clients in interviews and hearings.
