Dr. Maria Espinola conducts comprehensive forensic psychological evaluations, provides attorney consultations, and serves as an expert witness in civil, family, criminal, and federal immigration cases. Her office provides services in 42 states, in 15 different languages.

Job Description

Oversees the immigration psychology cases under the direction of the Supervising Psychologist. Assists with various administrative and operational tasks to ensure the efficient running of the office.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as liaison communicating throughout the process of requesting and receiving information from law enforcement agencies, law firms, and individuals seeking services. This includes but is not limited to screening initial referrals, service agreements, releases of information, medical records, court orders, previous reports/testing, and retainers. This requires regular contact with parties to monitor case status.
  • Schedules immigration psychology cases based on all necessary information received by deadline, schedules collateral interviews, and manages the office calendar to ensure the Supervising Psychologist’s preparation for cases, meetings, and other office responsibilities.
  • Consolidates legal, medical, and other case records obtained in a logical fashion to ensure ease of review for psychologists, interpreters, and evaluation aides.
  • Records and charts client contacts in a timely fashion as required.
  • Invoices, tracks invoices, and processes payments.
  • Proofreads reports.
  • Markets forensic psychology services to appropriate referral sources and develops website materials.
  • Acts as purchasing officer for supplies and testing materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

·Strong communication skills in English and Spanish

Education

• College degree preferred.

Credentials

Work Schedule: 15-25 hours / week

Compensation Range: $15 - $25 per hour

Location of Job: Hybrid position (Cincinnati, OH and remote). Most activities can be completed remotely.
