Job description

Healthcare providers go into medicine to care for people, but end up losing valuable time each day to admin work and other workplace challenges. Time that could otherwise be spent helping patients. And patients end up suffering as a result. At Commure, we build solutions that simplify providers' lives and keep them connected to their patients so they can focus on doing what matters most: providing care.

Our innovative suite of software and hardware – augmented by advanced LLM AI, RTLS, and healthcare workflow automations – boosts efficiency across every domain of healthcare, freeing up healthcare providers to spend more of their time caring for patients. Our growing suite of technologies include staff duress alerting, asset tracking, patient elopement, revenue cycle management, clinical documentation and intake, provider copilots, patient engagement and communication, home health, remote patient monitoring, and more.

Today, we support over 250,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites around the country. And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!

About the Role
Commure is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Immigration Program Manager to manage and execute employment-based immigration processes across the company. This role will work closely with the Legal and People teams to independently drive case preparation and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and timelines. Outside counsel will be engaged only for complex or novel matters - this role is expected to own day-to-day filings and documentation directly.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare, file, and track employment-based immigration cases including H-1B, O-1, L-1, TN, F-1/OPT/CPT, PERM, and green cards (EB-1/EB-2/EB-3).

  • Complete forms and draft case materials (support letters, employment verifications, etc.) using internal templates, escalating to counsel only where needed

  • Maintain organized digital immigration records, including public access files, PERM audit files, and I-9 documentation

  • Liaise directly with employees to collect documentation, provide case updates, and offer immigration guidance throughout the process

  • Manage case timelines, renewal calendars, and internal reports to ensure no lapses or missed deadlines

  • Coordinate with HR to support onboarding, role changes, and offboarding for immigration-impacted employees

  • Track metrics, flag compliance risks, and suggest process improvements to streamline filings and internal workflows

  • Serve as the main point of contact with outside immigration counsel for complex filings, RFEs, or legal strategy calls

What You'll Have

  • 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. employment-based immigration, ideally in-house or at a high-volume firm

  • Strong working knowledge of USCIS and DOL processes for temporary visas and PERM-based green cards

  • Experience filling out and managing USCIS/DOL forms and support materials directly

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trust with candidates, employees, HR, and external counsel

  • Familiarity with immigration case tracking tools (e.g., INSZoom, Tracker) is a plus
