Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney in Texas or with a federal license.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in immigration law; at least two years practicing law or working in a law office.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal consultations and representation in immigration matters.
• Appear in immigration court and assist with hearings, motions or trials.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery and legal documents.
• Maintain client contact and update case management notes.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on recruitment, training and supervision.
• Supervise legal assistants and ensure timely professional development.
